The Best Headphones Under $20…And How to Make Them Even Better
For those of you looking to replace those headphones that you have now with something better, but won’t break the bank, let me suggest the JVC Marshmallows. You can find these on Amazon for even less than $15, and in my opinion, that is a great deal for the quality that these headphones provide. What makes these headphones so great? Well first off, these are noise isolating IEMs, and they do a great job at blocking outside noise. I can comfortably listen to my music at low to mid volume, even when riding the train, which can get pretty loud. Also, if you like bass, these headphones have bass…a lot of bass. Actually, these have more bass than my ATH M50 headphones, which cost me a bit over $100. Now I am not saying that the JVC Marshmallows are better than a $100 pair of headphones, because at less than $15, you can’t expect them to be, but the amount of bass in these is quite surprising. Unfortunately, because of the bass, some songs can sound kind of muddy. But wait, there is a solution to this! That solution can be found here. I’ve tried it myself, and it is a huge improvement in my opinion. I sometimes even prefer to listen to my music on my JVC Marshmallows rather than my more expensive pair of headphones! You can even choose from a number of different colors to suit your taste.The JVC Marshmallows are great headphones at a great price. You can’t go wrong with buying a pair of these.
